There are weight facilities at Bonsor Complex, Cameron Complex, CG Brown Pool, Eastburn Centre, Willingdon Centre. In addition, there is weight equipment at two 55+ centres, Edmonds Centre and Confederation Centre.

tours and orientation
All of our weight rooms are user-friendly. Drop by any weight room and our staff would be happy to give you a complimentary tour. Some facilities have scheduled supervised weight room hours, so please call ahead for available times.
The weight room supervisor will provide a general overview of how to use the weight room equipment, provide weight room etiquette tips and give you the opportunity to ask any health-related questions. This session is included in your weight room admission.

It's just a matter of good sense. Please remember to:
• Attend an orientation session or a personalized lifestyle session if you are new to the weight room.
• Ask our weight room staff for assistance and advice on new equipment or exercises.
• Wear proper footwear (no sandals or open-toe shoes).
• Use sign-up boards for cardio equipment.
• Wear deodorant, but not perfume or cologne.
• Clean off equipment after use with a towel.
• Return weights and plates to their proper racks and stands.
• Keep self-expression to a minimum. No grunting or singing over your iPod.
• Wash your workout gear regularly.
• Share the equipment, allowing others to work in with you.
