drop-in playground activities

Join the excitement in Burnaby parks this summer. Our experienced playground leaders are in your neighbourhood park during the times noted on the chart below. We invite your children to drop by and get involved in sports, games, water play, creative art activities and more. For more information about specific parks, please call the numbers listed on the Playground Activities Chart.

* Please note: Young children taking part in the playground activities must be accompanied by an adult. There is no playground service on the August 4 statutory holiday.

wading and spray pools

Wading and spray pools schedules change according to daily temperatures and GVRD water conservation guidelines. Wading pools are filled only when a playground leader is on site. Charles Rummel, Confederation and Suncrest spray pools are on a temperature-controlled system and operate only on warm days.
