Bulky Item Pick Up
If you receive Burnaby's curbside garbage collection you may put out one bulky item per week (depending on what it is) with your regular garbage for collection. Please call Burnaby Sanitation & Recycling 604.294.7972 to confirm the item you would like to put out for collection. (Note: Electronic items are not accepted as bulky items. Please call the BC Recycling Hotline 604-732-9253 for locations to drop off old electronic items.)
Appliance Collection
Burnaby residents can arrange for pick up of appliances. Call Burnaby Sanitation & Recycling 604.294.7972 to arrange a pick-up.
Reminders
- Appliances must be placed within three feet of the curb.
- Items must be visible from both ends of the street or lane.
- Leave a space between the recycling, garbage and yard waste.
Multi-Family Appliance Collection
If your multi-family complex is on the Burnaby multi-family garbage collection service, you can call Burnaby Sanitation to arrange for collection of appliances. (Note: Residents in multi-family complexes are responsible for getting the appliance to the curb for pick-up).
