Experience heritage in a traditional BC Electric Railway tram stop community. Our village is a combination of heritage and replica buildings on a 10-acre site. Period costumed townsfolk welcome visitors and give demonstrations in the homes, businesses and shops. Be sure to take in the elegance of the Interurban #1223 and the interactive tram exhibit. An exciting must for every visitor is a whirl on the historic 1912 CW Parker Carousel. Amenities include an ice-cream parlour which offers a menu for light meals and snacks, picnic tables, and a gift shop. The site is wheelchair accessible.

Located in Deer Lake Park, the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts offers a wide spectrum of arts programs for all ages. The Centre features the James Cowan Theatre, a Studio Theatre and a Recital Hall. The Centre also hosts a number of summer outdoor festivals and concerts on the grounds at Deer Lake Park.
